The Colonial District pre-spring meeting will be held in Staunton March 16-17, 2012. There will be a Judges'
seminar and a CR recertification.
Friday
will begin with heavy hors d'oeuvres and other activities. There will be refreshments available all day Saturday.
Lunch will be soup and salad and the evening meal (since it is St. Patrick's Day) will be chicken and corned beef and
cabbage. Meals will be catered by Barbara Shaner. You are asked to attend the banquet in St. Patrick's Day
dress and we may have a little fun with that. Just be sure you are wearing something green!
Meetings will be at Christ Lutheran Church and the motel is Staunton Best Western (same as last year). The motel is
still $59.95/night.
For the spouses
not interested in the seminars I have tentatively arranged a guided tour of President Woodrow Wilson's birthplace, Presidential
Library, museum, and gift shop. The cost will be $8.00 if we can get a group of at least 10. I will need to know
if you plan to attend the tour by March 1.
Entertainment Friday night will be MIRA, Renaissance Music & Song. They will also be selling their CDs.
